Michael and Maddi’s formals session in the Utah mountains was the kind of day that feels straight out of a dream. Nestled above the sparkling waters of Little Dell Reservoir, wild yellow blooms covered the hills like something out of a fairytale. Early summer light filtered through the mountains, making the perfect backdrop for their emotional first look. Maddi wore a stunning beaded mermaid gown from The Bride Room, paired with an elegant updo and a bouquet bursting with colorful peonies and wild blooms by High Mountain Floral. Michael looked sharp in his custom green suit from H.M. Cole, bringing rich, earthy contrast to the scene. Every detail felt elevated, but the laughter and connection between them kept the whole session grounded, joyful, and real.

Our seasonal timing was perfect for the yellow wildflowers that bloom around Little Dell Reservoir. With the perfect blend of sweeping mountain views and a lake view, Little Dell is an absolutely stunning location for mountain wedding pictures. The way the evening haze cuts across the mountain peaks and over the lake is breath taking. You can walk closer to the water, along the hiking paths and along the shore. The Utah mountains just never disappoint.

Maddi's colors and florals were an amazing match as she was wanting brighter summer colors that bring life and energy to everything. Her bridal bouquet, created by High Mountain Floral, included so many stunning colors of yellows, blues and pinks! Her beaded mermaid gown from The Bride Room was a perfect fit for her personality and elegant look! Bonus - the off shoulder sleeves are detachable for multiple looks with one gown! Michael's suit was custom made by H.M. Cole. It's a stunning color of green with details of texture and pattern that were his own amazing choice of detail that brought his amazing style and personality into the wedding design. Michael's jacket is lined with his custom skier fabric and stitching.
