Engagements in Blossoms with Snacks!
I think everyone will be extremely pleased to know that I actually convinced my daughter that blossoms were, in reality, popcorn growing on trees. You should have seen the shock on her face when we finally picked some and she realized that I had flowers in my hand, not popcorn. She was horribly shocked (in the way only a freakishly creative four year old can be), then eyebrows down angry, and then, in a great turn of events, she was impishly pleased. It was a rollercoaster that was totally worth all the work it took to convince her it was popcorn in the first place! Haha!
Speaking of popcorn and blossoms… I have a ridiculously cute engagement session to share with you all today. Adri and Zack brought popcorn, cupcakes, lemonade and squishy, giggly love to their blossoms engagements, and it made for an adorably cute time. Being the extremely brave folks that we are, we all ventured on a Saturday night in April to capture our pictures at the Utah State Capitol building with the epic cherry blossoms. It was insanely crazy! Consider this your pirate warning if any of you desire to catch the blossoms on a weekend. We got there early and shared with everyone (like the good human beings that we try to be) and were able to really enjoy our time there. Thank you to all the people and photographers around us that were willing to communicate and share the space, so we were all able to get some pictures without being in each others backgrounds. Don’t we all just adore generous human beings?? Yes! Definitely yes!
Here's to popcorn and fantastic humans!!
