Bella is a stunning senior with the most gorgeous platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. They really wanted to have a darker backdrop to make sure she was the star of the show, and also were really hoping for mountain and summer vibes. I said, "Absolutely! I have a great place with pines for a darker, forested backdrop and also the most stunning mountain views, all in one place!"
Bring those who hype you up
It isn't uncommon for seniors to be a little unsure or nervous coming into their senior session. For many it is their first opportunity to have professional photos taken of just themselves. It's important to only bring people along who are going to help you feel comfortable and hype you up. Bella brought her mom, and she was the perfect cheerleader! She helped her choose her wardrobe, jewelry and shoes when Bella wanted her input on them. She encouraged her to try new things and be relaxed and fun. Her mom gave the best cheers and compliments filled with genuine joy. Surround yourselves with people like Bella's mom!
Wardrobe choice
I love the variety and personality in the clothing choices Bella made for her senior session. Her hot pink dress is darling, energetic and playful. Her casual outfits with the jeans and detailed tops were perfect. The dainty floral pattern was beautiful and light. The denim gave a great neutral, young feel. Timing your session
As your photographer I am here to help you with timing of everything. The light, best time for different locations and settings, and how long a session needs to be for how many outfits and ideas you want to fit in! I have a pretty good idea of when things are blooming and changing. Blossoms, wildflowers, fall leaves, green back in the canyons. I can help you select the best timing for your ideal location!
