A Yosemite National Park Wedding


There are wedding days where the location becomes almost as much a part of the story as the people in it, and Yosemite is one of those places. We photographed this Yosemite National Park wedding in June, spending the day exploring some of the most iconic areas of the park—from Yosemite Valley and Cathedral Beach to Glacier Point and a sunset hike out to Taft Point.



It was everything we love about destination wedding photography: beautiful landscapes, a little adventure, plenty of time to explore, and two people getting married in a place they'll never forget.

Yosemite Valley Wedding Photos



We began the day in Yosemite Valley, where granite cliffs seem to rise in every direction. Between portraits at Tunnel View, Cathedral Beach, the Yosemite meadows and waterfalls and the historic chapel, we were able to create a completely different look at every stop without ever leaving the valley.

Private Vow exchange at Glacier Point



With half dome as their witness, A & A exchanged their hand written vows with each other with a private vow exchange at Glacier Point. There were laughs, happy tears, and no shortage of blue skies and awe striking beauty.

Sunset Wedding Photos at Taft Point




After spending some beautiful moments at Glacier Point we headed to hike Taft Point for sunset and our final celebration of the day. It's difficult to describe the absolute beauty of the hike and views of Taft Point. Stunning pines and granite, insanely epic views and the warm, hazy sunset light at the view point. For wedding portraits, it's hard to imagine a backdrop feeling much bigger than this one.
