Hi, I'm Coley Cook

Professional photographer in black attire walks on grass while holding two cameras and waving. Best Utah Wedding Photographers.

Your friendly Utah Wedding Photographer.

Let's get to know each other

For more than 10 years, I’ve photographed over 300 weddings and elopements, and my work has been trusted and published across Utah and beyond.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a mountain-loving, sports-playing, animal-obsessed mom of three girls with a competitive streak and a soft spot for a good adrenaline rush.

On a free day you’ll find me with my husband and our girls, walking our shepherd mix Veil, playing Mario Kart, chasing roller coasters at Lagoon, or escaping to the mountains whenever we can.

And after all these years, I still feel honored every single time I’m trusted to document a wedding day.

The Story behind Coley Cook Photography

A minimalist white blank canvas with a clean, simple design perfect for backgrounds or templates.

My business started with a one-year-old girl and a deployment.

When my oldest daughter Ava was one, my husband was deployed and I was juggling work, daycare, and motherhood. The constant rush and the feeling of missing moments hit hard. I didn’t just want a job — I wanted a life where I could be present.

Photography began as something I loved while working at a studio. Starting my own business was a leap, but Coley Cook Photography was built from bravery, love, and the decision to align my work with what mattered most.

It still is.

If you’re looking for a photographer who truly cares about your experience and the memories you’re creating, I’d love to hear about your plans.

Meet CoCO

The Little Red Fox

The red fox symbolizes adaptability, intuition, and creativity.

Adaptable when timelines shift or weather changes.

Intuitive when reading the room.

Creative in how I compose, observe, and preserve what matters most.

Confident enough to guide your day without ever overpowering it.

CoCo is also a tribute to my oldest daughter, Avalee Fox, the heart behind how this business came to exist.

My Approach

I am at my absolute best on a wedding day. Put me in the middle of it all, and I’m completely in my element.

There’s a beautiful mix of creativity, emotion, and organized chaos that I’m made for. I thrive on helping couples feel relaxed, keeping the energy fun, and capturing moments as they naturally unfold.

My approach is intuitive and people-first. I read the room, guide you naturally, and adjust quickly so nothing feels stiff or overly posed. You’ll get direction when you need it, space when you don’t, and a whole lot of real laughter in between. It should feel effortless — like your favorite hype friend who just happens to know how to find the best light.

When you look back at your gallery years from now, I want you to feel the energy of the day — the movement, the hugs, the dance floor joy, the quiet in-between moments. Not just beautiful images, but a living memory of how it all felt.
